Microsoft Surface screen Model 1597

I have this huge screen sitting next to me.  Is it possible to utilize it as an extra remote computer.  Remote Desktop to it and see a large design blueprints?  Need a large screen to see design documents.  I see it has an Ethernet port.

A screen is not a computer, so you couldn't RDC to it.  However, there should be ports such as VGA, HDMI, etc. you can run it as a secondary monitor.

What is the make model of the screen?
yes, you need an adapter, what sort of input on the screen?  HDMI would be good, but VGA works too.

It's probably a smart TV and the Ethernet port is for internet access.  Again as it's not a real computer, there is no way to RDC to it.

It has two DisplayPorts.  One in, one out.  HDMI and VGA ports.
Sorry, I meant for the guest computer.  You do realize this is not just a screen, but a Windows 10 computer.
Exactly.  It has a lot more than just a screen :)
Two cameras and two pens on each side.
I think its called MS Surface Hub.
You should be able to run an HDMI cable from your Surface to the TV and use it as a secondary monitor.  Just extend your desktop to the screen.
Didn't really want to run cables here.   Was hoping its a full blown computer.  Which it is.  Maybe the OS just stripped down off RDC.

Thanks Fred and Will.  I was able to boot it up and get into the Bing browser.  From there I got into google drive.  So that works for me for now.  Not the best quality because google drive compressing images into a lower resolution.  But it still larger screen.
Maybe I figure if there access to the local file system and save files directly there over the network.
Definitely it doesn't look like a full Windows OS.
