can you please share the screen shots of errors while doing update?

when I do it through windows update it searches for the update long time and fails. when I do it through standalone installer it says update not applicable to this computer.<br />

when I use dism it says , dism error 87. &nbsp;it looks all ways blocked and still i don't know which is causing the issue.

Thanks. i just gone through cbs logs and found there is a registry key which it said not found. this registry key did not allow me to change the permission on it nor allowed to delete. i nees to export the registry add the problem key manually. i renamed the whole tree and export it. then windows update back to normal.

i have a windows 2008 r2 server i am no longer able to install any updates. the server does not want to het installed with any updates. all updates it says not applicable for this computer message. even the standalone installer has also the same problem. with dism commands the result. i am not sure what the problem is. i tried all the tools like windows update trouble shooter , readiness tools, sfc, reset windows updates components etc. nothing seemed to work. please help.
