Access 2010

Hello All,
I have a interesting problem.
we have one computer on the network that has a local printer.
when i send a report to the printer it print two pages. (second page is blank)
i already checked and changed the margins. it dosnt do it on the other computers.

When i do a preview before printing, it's only printing one page even i send it to the printer from the preview.
Thanks in advance

There might be extra space below controls in a section.

To fix, go to the Design view of the report. Close up the extra space below sections:

1. move mouse to bottom boundary of a section
2. when the shape of the cursor changes to a double-headed vertical arrow, click and drag up.

Save

as for differences ... perhaps the local printer cannot have such small top and bottom margins -- and all printers render things a little different. As for why it prints ok from preview ... my guess is that it is nearly a page and it is a small difference between which printer driver rendered the image.

please, frimy, when you ask a question, make a subject for the post relative to what you are asking about so those of use helping and searching can keep track of threads better.  You just posted two questions called "Access 2010" -- it is good to let us know what version you are using but put that in your post instead, thanks

if you were really sending the same report (you should copy the whole database to make sure), check if you were using same paper size at both platforms. also the other printer properties should be identically. last thing i could think of is that the computers do not have identical fonts. the font mapping then might use a different default font - say for the title line - if it is different in height you might get a further page. you would see that if you thoroughly compare the two printouts (use a ruler for comparison).

Open Access in design mode on this specific computer and check the report...fix the report margin according to this specific printer...

Thanks for your suggestions.
I already tried all of them but I did it thru remote connections.
I think I will have to go to customers site and play with it locally.
Thanks
Have a nice weekend ALL.
