Domino Servers Retire
Hello Team,
I have a question and need help and guidance.
We have 100 Domino servers with most of the database and applications in each servers.
I would like to know what are the pre requisites and steps should be taken before the servers are retired and as a Domino admin what are the steps to be taken?

If you want to group several servers into one, there are a few important elements to think of:
- databases and 'hard' links
- ACLs
- web-enabled databases and their URLs
- user settings (default mail server, directory server, etc.)
- your DNS
- mail and mail databases
Here's a (older but still valid) document about merging Domino domains: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/library/ls-Merging_Domino_domains/index.html . It isn't the same, but many of the actions are applicable to server consolidation too.
