Watchguard Firewall - Stop blocking EXE File downloads on one website.

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me step by step how to stop a Watchguard XTM25 from blocking downloads of EXE files from a server hosted website (so need to add an exception as an IP address) .

Many thanks

Assuming you are using HTTP proxy, please have a look below:
https://watchguardsupport.secure.force.com/publicKB?type=KBArticle&SFDCID=kA22A000000HPuvSAG&lang=en_US

Create a new HTTP Service from [public-ip-of-website to hostname]; to internal or specific network; ensure under HTTP Response->Body Content Type you don't have EXE listed

This would allow EXE from the said site; another option is to use Exceptions.

Thank you.
