SCCM 2012 - Issue with Temp Files

Hi, we have noticed that the temp folder in C:\Windows\CCM\Temp is getting filled with the end result of running out of disk space in Windows.
We are running CM 2012 CB.
Doesn't seem to be affecting all users.
I have googled but not able to find anything about this folder and how we can control the size of the content.
Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks
Matt

The site https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/meamcs/2012/10/04/managing-configuration-manager-2012-client-cache/ comments give several suggestions for adjusting the client cache sizes.

The original article says choosing the "persist" option for deployments can fill the drive if you use it for large software distributions.
