I don't see any attachments, but in my experience the most likely cause is a spanning tree loop, and if it is a loop the problem is going to get progressively worse . The first thing I would do is look at the cdp neighbors on your switches, Usually if there is a loop you can see yourself as a neighbor, if that doesn't work start looking at interfaces with a high number of drops. After that it's a process of elimination on different switches.

Just had my solarwinds monitoring alarm go off on our Cisco core switch 192.168.1.1.<br />
As you can see in my attachment. Pinging to our core is hitting peaks and valleys, all other devices on that subnet and are server vlan our having high ping times. <br />

How would I further diagnois what is causing the issue? I'm sure if I reload the core it will clear up but I need to find and elimate the issues so it doesn't happen again.<br />
