High Response time on core switch

Just had my solarwinds monitoring alarm go off on our Cisco core switch 192.168.1.1.
As you can see in my attachment. Pinging to our core is hitting peaks and valleys, all other devices on that subnet and are server vlan our having high ping times.

How would I further diagnois what is causing the issue? I'm sure if I reload the core it will clear up but I need to find and elimate the issues so it doesn't happen again.

Thank you in advance!

I don't see any attachments, but in my experience the most likely cause is a spanning tree loop, and if it is a loop the problem is going to get progressively worse . The first thing I would do is look at the cdp neighbors on your switches, Usually if there is a loop you can see yourself as a neighbor, if that doesn't work start looking at interfaces with a high number of drops. After that it's a process of elimination on different switches.
