VoIP phone service vendor
Hi,
I am considering "converting cable operator provided phone service to VoIP phone service".
Can you recommend a vendor and explain why you like them?
I am aware that there are multiple players - RingCentral, Vonage, 8x8 ... etc.
Thank you for your input in advance.

Sure, I might have some ideas. Can you provide a little background on your company requirements (i.e. how many users, locations, features that are important, etc.)?
You might also include your motivation as to why you are wanting to change.

There are 12 voice and 2 fax lines. Sing location. A few 800 numbers that are forwarded to sales people's office (or cell) phones in different states. We all use Microsoft Office 365 as desktop app. I don't know if there are important features that we are looking for. Voicemails are send via email as attachment.
If we go with cloud PBX, we don't need to maintain phone PC/PBX in house.

We do have CISCO router that does QoS. I can only guess on simultaneous calls - maximum 12, reality would be 4-8 calls? We pay about $30 per line to WOW (competitor of Time Warner(Spectrum). Long distance calls are free.

Thank for the information and suggestions.
I have a question for those who migrated from digital phone system (in-house PBX system) to cloud hosted PBX system like VONAGE, RingCentral, ... etc.
Why did you do it and what are the highlights of the benefits?
From money standpoint, cloud hosted PBX is NOT necessarily cheaper. WOW (or Time Warner) digital phone service is less than $30/month per line.
