Windows Powershell cmdlets: how to get and install?

Hi,

I am completely new to powershell, but I have heard that you can use the Get-StorageFirmwareInformation and Update-StorageFirmware using the power shell.  When I try this in Windows 10, I get a cmdlet not found message.  Is there a way to find these cmdlets and install them on the system I am using.  Detailed instructions would be great since I haven't ever used this before.

I am very familiar with installing firmware on HDDs, using linux.  I know its dangerous.  I just want to try it on Windows, please.  It would make my life a lot easier at the moment.

So turns out I was running Windows 8.  Duh!  So I have now remedied that and found all the commands.  Now I am trying to update the firmware and am getting errors.  Can anyone interpret what is wrong?  I apologize for the black outs, but I have to due to NDAs.

By the way, I put an analyzer on the drive and there are no commands being sent to the drive.  That means Windows is kicking it out, I assume.

I am still getting an error, though different when I do it that way.  The SlotNumber is cut off in the picture, but it said "-SlotNumber 0".

The get-storagefirmwareinformation says the SupportsUpdate is True.  That's supposed to mean the drive does support it.  In reading the MS website, there is a possibility the HBA is at fault.  Going to try on a different PC to see if that helps.
Turns out the drive I was using isn't supported.  Thanks to all for your help.
Thank you all for your assistance.
