asked on

accessing all iMessages from a iphone

we are trying to get access to a iPhone and be able to access all sent / received and deleted iPhone imessages. Does apple have a record of these messages on a server .. Do they exist? Is there somewhere on the phone that these messages can be accessed?  If they do ... What do I need in order to access this data?

Regards,

goraps.

"Does apple have a record of these messages on a server" Yes and NO .. they're encrypted and NOT available to Apple or you to access.

If they've been deleted from the device and there are no Backups on iTunes or iCloud for that device then they are NOT recoverable.

If there are backups and you have access  to the users iCloud account it should be possible to restore a backup of the phone and view whatever messages were saved on the device at that time.

ASKER

Isn't there security type companies that can access this info I am looking for if a icloud restore is not a option?
