Safari displays line under navigation differently

Why does Safari display the white line under the navigation bar as a 1 px line (which is what it was originally). In Firefox, it displays correctly as a 5px line. I don't think it is a cache issue since I normally don't use Safari. Client brought this up to my attention and that was when I viewed in Safari.
