I operate the HP dl 390 G9 and window server 2012.
the existing server operated as raid0 and logical drive 1. and add 4 more disk(1.2TB) as raid 5 for file sharing. now I can use HDD capacity as 2.4 TB. because 3 hdd operate as raid5 and the last one is how swap. then I can use it 2.4 TB, is it right?
and my question is after raid5 setting, I can see the alarm message "Background parity initialization is currently queued or in progress on Logical Drive 2~~~" then what do I do?
Just reboot the server and format the drive on Window server? or Do I start initialization? how to start it? I can found any menu relate with it

The message is telling you - you need to start writing to the logical drive in order to start the initialization process. So format the drive now. Start working on it. It will do initialization in background. Performance may be dergadated during that time. It will take some time - probably few hours.
