How to simply remote desktop 2012 start menu from ordinary users

Hi, I need to control what an ordinary user sees on the start menu of a Windows 2012 RDP server. They only need to use the desktop icons and user applications.

It is an all in one RDP server that has all the RDP services except the license server.  I created a test domain user that does not have any administrator privileges.  The test user is seeing the full start menu items (I would like to change that) but is unable to perform administrative function (that is very good.)

You can use GPO to restrict what is available, adjust the start menu in c:\programdata\microsoft\windows\start menu

Look at creating RDP application restrictions making specific apps .....
