Outlook archiving old emails

How can I archive old email into another pst account that can come up independently and not come up with the main account?
Needless to say we do not want to lose any of these important emails.

You just create another PST and drag and drop emails you want to archive. For me I have to got to FILE, Account Settings, Account settings, Data Files (TAB), click add, name the file what you want and you will be able to move emails to that file.
You should see the PST on the left side underneath your mailbox. And it is separate from your normal inbox.
