How to create a graph on the fly based on user input

I've put together a spreadsheet for approx. 20 sales people (1 sheet per salesperson), which contains plan and actual sales numbers, month by month. Each sheet is identical in terms of it's set-up. I want to be able to select one of these sales people, through a dropdown list (done that bit!), and then create a graph for that specific sales person (and as you select a different sales person, the graph updates with the details in the sheet for that person) based on the selection.

Is this possible? It's easy enough to create a separate graph for each individual, but this seems a bit of a waste.  I keep thinking there must be an easy way, but I can't seem to find anything on it.

Thanks, in advance, for any help!

I dont think you can do an active update graph in excel.

Since you already have the data in a spreadsheet, you can actually pump the data into a BI software like Qlik.  There are so many different ways you can display the data using it and it is FREE.
