Mx records in godaddy

I have a domain with godaddy acousticsbusinesssolutions.com  ip:198.71.232.3

I have setup a mailserver and added acousticsbusinesssolutions.com with its ip 74.86.231.19

I have changed the mx records to

Host: @
Points to mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com (tried to pony to 74.86.231.19 to no avail)

mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com still points to the ip at godaddy

whatismydns.net says that the mx record is:

0:mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com

Is that correct? Do I have to wait to propagation?

Any help will be appreciated

You have to change your A record mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com to point to 74.86.231.19
It's OK for your MX record.

I check your TTL for this record is set to 10 minutes, so it will be pretty fast to update. On my DNS, its still pointing to old IP Address.

I have 2 A records

A      *      WSB Published Site      600 segundos      Modificar
A      @      WSB Published Site      600 segundos

None seem to be mail.

I tried to add a new A record

A  mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com 74.86.231.19 TTL 1/2hour but I get an "unexpected error" messages
You can't add this record. You have to edit the existing one.

Maybe you have a subdomain "mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com" with a A record like * pointing to 198.... If yes, modify this record.

As I said I only have 2 A records  no subdomain

Which should I modidify?
I check DNS with https://dnschecker.org/#A/mail.acousticsbusinesssolutions.com and I think it's OK.

Maybe you get error from Godaddy but record is added...

Thx

The mx records show an error, why?
I don't know. You have to ask GoDaddy (maybe a web interface bug).

Your MX is OK :

And email sent to

silentflex@acousticsbusinesssolutions.com

I get this message form verifalia.com

A socket connection error occured while connecting to the mail exchanger which serves the email address domain. Please try again in a few minutes: if the problem persists, then the domain for the email address can't accept email messages.
