Toshiba R 830-S8320 won't update BIOS

In process of rebuilding...installed SSD...Win 7 / 64 Pro...new RAM...
All drivers installed...correctly...

HOWEVER...this bugger will NOT update BIOS...

According to Belarc which I ran before the rebuild...I have BIOS v2.7...
The latest BIOS on Toshiba download site is BIOS v4.10
Everytime I try to install the BIOS i get the error message......"This computer is not supported"...

Any suggestons appreciated...

I would take it at face value. Your particular model of Toshiba apparently does not support the newest BIOS (irrespective of Belarc). If the machine is working correctly, leave the BIOS as it is and ignore the Belarc recommendation.
The other thing you might try is to see (Toshiba Support Site) if there is a later V2 or V3 BIOS you can obtain and update to that. Then try V4. It may be that the jump is too great.

Thanks John...
I can certainly leave the BIOS alone...
And there are about 4-5 earlier BIOS's listed...and I tried working my way up...
But even the current BIOS...v2.7 would give me the same error message...

I searched the Toshiba website by Serial #...so it should be the correct BIOS's listed...

I do not believe that the BIOS cannot be updated....will keep looking...there is a way...

I'll post back if I figure it out..,.
