Determine total number of files contained within corporate Google Drive
How can I as a Google super administrator determine the total number of files that all of our company's users have within Google Drive?
Go to Google drive - > Select all files using SHIFT+ A -> move at the bottom -> drag the files(dont drop) there you will see the count.

Please see my other question before responding to this one: Gain access as Google super administrator to all files within corporate Google Drive.
I first need to be able to gain access to all user files which currently I am unable to do (even though I have super admin rights to this corporate Google account).

That other question is not relevant to answering this question.
To see the total files, you log into your administrator console, go to reports, then App Usage Activity. You will see the total count of files by user for total files, total emails and space used in megabytes.
Although I have not done this, I would imagine all of this is also available via the API through your custom programming as well.

Scott Fell, EE MVE,
I have followed the URL address you provided and the latest file count that is being provided is from September 9, 2017 (one month ago).
Is there any way of running this report and getting the total number of files that are located within our corporate Google Drive folder as of today?

On the left column, make sure you select the view by date and use "Latest". I double checked my own admin portal and it is up to date.

I do have latest selected and have also selected as of date (and selected the most recent date of 10/7/17).
However the graph continues to show statistics for 9/9/17.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this so today's (or a relatively recent date from today) can be used?

If you use the As of Date option, you get a pop up calendar. What is the most recent date shown there? Mine is Oct 7.

Scott Fell, EE MVE,
When I use the "As of Date" option and select the most recent date which is 10/7/17 I continue to get statistics as of 9/9/17 in both the graph and in the .CSV file.
Is there any way of getting this information based upon a more recent date than one month ago?

At this point, I suggest calling support. Something is not right. If you select oct 7 and not getting that data, I would call and have them check your account. However, I woud first try clearing the browser cache as well as log in cookies. Close and reopen the browser just to eliminate that aspect.
