asked on

software for logging

hi,

we are doing maintenance on about 100 servers. and about 50 network devices.

for the moment we use an excell sheet to keep track of what we do and log.

is there any good software of webbased program to use for logging?

we want to search and filter on customer/system/date etc...

we log every change/install/etc we do on systems.

I use http://loggly.com to log to the Cloud

what an ugly web site is that! I never trust such company :)
Well ⅓ of the Fortune 500 do, am me :)
then why dont they pay a couple of $100 and make a nice looking web site?

site looks like back to to the 1990s :)
I guess product is this one

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loggly

does not look bad :)
I was trying to add image, but you added already :)

maybe they have some missing css files in their web site...

I guess they have a redirect problem on their web site!

Ghostery prevented a redirect from
www.loggly.com to www.loggly.com,
which is part of Loggly.

This tag appears to redirect to
https://www.loggly.com/

ok, it was my Ghostery plugin :) that messes this site somehow...
Ghostery blocks all scripts coming from loggly.com, thinking it is a tracker lol :)
