why the difference?
i am showing my documents, from 2 locations : see the Office template in the display, and the Asus doc (no word installed yet)
why does it not show in both displays ? or not in all ?

Are the two locations means from different PC? The file display setting may be set differently in both the PC.
Is the file set as a hidden or system file? That may be reason why it is not displayed.

right on top in recent it shows files mixed from 2 different drives...what a mess in windows 10
can i disable recent files somehow, or hide it ?

Documents with that special icon, is actually a library where YOU can decide what is included. To remove the other folders from this library, look at the left panel again, scroll down for Libraries, on Documents, right mouse click > Properties. You will see multiple folders. Remove the ones you don't want.
They were there because in the past, you right mouse clicked on a folder, then chose > Include in Library > Documents.
The lower Documents folder with just a yellow icon, is not a special library, but ONLY that folder. You can also choose to unpin the Documents library icon instead,

that does not show as you posted - hower i closed the recent files - and hope they stay closed
Maybe a antivirus setting to avoid showing files with double extensions.
