Extend C Drive of Windows 2008 VM
Hi,
Sometime ago I extended a VM C drive on a Windows 2008 server and afterwards it wouldnt boot up so I had to restore from back up. Im about to carry out a similar operation on a different server which has three drives of which one is the C drive which currently sits at 275gb. I weary of doing the same process again in case it breaks the server (windows 28k/SQL2008) so looking for any sound advice and gotchas to look out for.
Thanks

It should be straight forward. As mentioned previously, ensure your backup is good just as a precautionary measure.
I also check logs on the ESXi host just to ensure everything is happy.
