Apple Mac Solution - Domain

I am looking for a simplistic solution to add Apple Mac's to the corporate domain.
All of which are pretty new OSX - Sierra.

I want them on the domain - so I can push out updates/AV and group policies.

Have tried binding them but it doesn't really work; want a better solution.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you want to join AD and manage them through GPO like settings, you'll have to use 3rd party software.

Here are 3:
Centrify
AdmitMac
PowerBroker Open (paid version)

Joining the Mac to the domain basically only enables SSO and password control, and nothing else.
