Removing a Modified Form from Modifier in Microsoft Dynamics GP

Hello:

A window was modified in Modifier in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 SP2 when it should not have been.  What's the best way to essentially remove the window from Modifier and, thus, reverse the modification?

Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi John,

There may be a different method, but this is the one that I would use.

1. If this is a shared dictionary, make sure that all users are out of GP and that there are no instances of Dynamics.exe running that might be locking the modified forms dictionary

2. Make a backup copy of the FORMS.DIC file, just in case

3. Open Modifier

4. Click on the Forms button to open the Modified Forms window

5. Select the modified form that you want to remove

6. Click the delete button

7. Click on File -> Dynamics GP to return to GP

Modified Forms Window

Let me know if that works for you.
