Cannon Pixma Printer - Undo Paper Jam With Tweezers or Plyers?

Hi,
I have a Canon Pixma Printer. I was loading paper into the input tray as it was printing. As i did so, several pages got sucked into the feeder (if that's the right term) and jammed. They are perfectly placed to that I can only barely reach them on either end (infeed or outfeed).

I tried using tweezers to grab them but I could not get a tight enough grip of them. Would pliers work? Something else? I hope I don't have to take apart the printer to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Steve

Yes pliers can be used (carefully!) try removing in the direction of paper movement if you have to go this route.
Also if your Pixma has a duplex unit you can open the panel at the back and grab the paper from the middle if it's not too tightly packed.
See :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9LWcVx_z4I
Use the smallest needle nose you can (I have a bunch of sizes) and as MASQ says, be gentle. Pull on one side and then the other side to try to bring the paper out in a straight line.

Thanks, guys.  Looks like a trip to the hardware store is in order tomorrow. :)
Replace the rubber rollers that feed the paper
@Ramon, do you mean I should remove the rollers, take out the paper, and put back the rollers? Thanks.
Replacing rollers is a repair (taking the printer apart). Try removing the paper first.
Yes sorry, but also replace the rollers with new ones .
Hey everyone, Pliers and tweezers did not work. There must be at least 5 pages jammed. And when I tried to pull out the page, a bit of what looks like the ?lining of the rollers? came out. At this point, can't risk damaging the printer. Will take to a computer place down the block to repair.

The above being said: how do you all suggest I close out this question?

Thanks.

Yes, agree with John, you pretty much got to the solution yourself.
