But I find a bug about it.

ex.
I received the e-mail at 9:23 am, sound.
I received the e-mail at 9:25 am, no sound.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This is normal behaviour for Outlook. It only makes a sound for the first email in a little while; it you get 10 in rapid succession, only the first will invoke a sound.

Not sure if there is a registry hack to alter this behaviour. Another workaround would be to create some inbox rules, specifying a sound be played whenever email arrives. You can even make it a different sound for each user.
