Dropbox not loading or is not connecting to server

A customer of mine wants to install dropbox on her computer but when we installed it  and try to open it, it says that there is no internet connection.  but that can't be because I was remotely on her computer and we was connected fine.  If i click on the icon in the sis tray is says "connecting" but that is all.  I shut off Norton scan and Norton firewall but that did no good.
How do I resolve this issue?

Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner
I went in and made sure that dropbox was allowed and it is allowed,
Tried again to install.  It claimed that dropbox was installed but then an error came up saying that there is no internet connection.  This cannot be since the computer is connected to the internet- we can browse the internet and I am remotely connected to the computer from my computer at the office.
Figured it out.
The proxy settings in dropbox was set to "auto detect."  Changed that to "no proxy" and dropbox worked.
Thanks for helping me with this issue
Well first off see if "proxy" is enabled in the dropbox settings and if it is, turn the proxy setting  "no proxy". Also try turning off your antivirus and see if that is preventing the connection from talking to dropbox.

I have heard of the client not installing correctly when a third party firewall or antivirus is turned on. So you might try inunstalling, disabling the firewall and/or antivirus, then reinstalling with those both turned off and see if it acts better.
lol jinx! I was just typing that out! Glad you got it figured out!
