Storage Replica on Server 2016
I need to replicate data between 2 IIS web servers and load balance between them. I was going to use DFSR but have seen Storage Replica is a new feature in Server 2016.
I have just set up storage replica between the 2 servers using the "New-SRPartnership" command.
Everything looks like it has worked correctly, but it seems I cannot access the drives on my secondary server.
My questions are:
1) Is this by design?
2) If i wanted to have the data available on both servers, is there a way to do this or do I have the wrong product.?
Thanks very much

Perfect - thanks!
To answer your questions we have to know more about your application, your data and database and your topology/architecture:
- Which kind of database or database server is under your web application?
- Data under your web application can change (users or the application can save new data or change existing) of static?
But first of all I can tell you that you cannot replicate data between servers with storage replication technologies.
I think you should not use any replication logic at all.
1. Just make a copy of your website on both web server.
2. Create a 3rd separate server for database and setup both web application (on both webserver) to use the same database.
3. Setup a load balancer to use both web servers.
4. Make regular backups of your database on the 3rd database server.
