Connecting Windows 10 machine to TV with WIFI Direct
Is this possible? I have a Windows 10 Machine at my business with wireless functionality. I also have a television in the same room that has WiFi Direct capabilities. Is it possible, with no external hardware, to connect these two devices to share display to the television. Let me preface this by saying that I also have an HDMI extender kit that I could use, but I would like to avoid running cabling if that isn't necessary.

There are Miracasst adapters for the TV side of things. Powered by a USB port on the TV and plug into an HDMI port. Not unlike a chrome cast. Might provide a middle ground.

That's definitely an option, I was just attempting to find a way not to incur an extra cost (Though I know it would be pennies in the grand scheme of things). We have the HDMI extender kit already, was just trying to avoid that option until last resort.

Turns out the TV does indeed support Miracast, it's a SONY Bravia. There's some delay with the screen broadcast, but I expected it. I'm going to do further tweaks and see what I can get out of it, but it appears we're good to go for now.
Thanks for the feedback,
