Windows Essential Server with Office 365 or Standard with Exchange on local site?
HI
A site with 10 users and one server. We are considering either Windows Standard with Exchange on-site or Windows Essential with Office 365 in the cloud. I assume the former means more local IT resources, the latter is cloud-based so suitable for small businesses?
Also, I assume Exchange won't run on Windows Essential Server!
Which is the best way forward?

Yes you need Standard for Exchange.

Also for Hard Drive, in the old days I used to do RAID 1 with two disks that would have the OS and APP. Then three disks for RAID 5.
I see some of the HP servers come with four bays - so two RAID 1 or one RAID 5 ?
Any of use SSD on the Server?

I also read somewhere the Windows Essential cannot run MS Exchange, you need Standard as a minimum. Correct?
