Deploying a pair of ACS servers in a cluster

Please see the diagram attached for a better idea of the setup. I am planning on deploying a pair of ACS servers in a cluster. Is it best to deploy the ACS servers in datacenter 2 behind a load balancer such as a F5? Also, is there a document/books which can be recommended which explains the different cluster deployment scenarios and how to pretty much configure an ACS from scratch?

Thank you

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

A simple way to set things up would be by having two identical clusters in each DC and use Storage Replica to sync between the two. SR can be synchronous if the connection between the two DCs is ~7ms or less for latency. Otherwise, Asynchronous would be the way to go.

Not knowing the workload requirements here are some cluster examples:
2-Node Clustered Storage Spaces and Hyper-V
A series of cluster examples
 + Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) Hyper-Converged
 + Kepler-47 S2D 2-Node that's very inexpensive
+ 2-Node Clustered Storage Spaces 400TB Archival Storage
