Guest DHCP scope on VLAN not routing
Hi all,
I've got a subinterface on gig0/0/2.1 with a VLAN of 100 and an IP of 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0 with a DHCP scope to give out IP's in the range of 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0 and a default gateway of 10.10.10.1 which it IS giving out to devices connecting to our Guest Wifi but i cannot get access to the internet. Is there anything i'm missing on a basic setup of this ?
Thanks

Do you have NAT configured? 10.x.x.x addresses aren't route-able on the Internet?

Hi Rich,
that's a good point but (and forgive me being an idiot) but i think i thought that the traffic from the 10.10.10.0 network would've routed automatically from the Cisco as both networks are in it's routing table ?

Can we have the show run of your cisco router?
Still you need to make sure the subnet assigned is also allowed on the natting

Thanks, i can't do a show run due to company policy but yes i see i need to add the subnet to be allowed on the natting so could someone point me in the right direction to see how to do this (i.e how to add the new DHCP scope of 10.10.10.x to the existing "allowed" IP scope of 192.168.2.x ?
Let's do this in a basic way
We start from a PC allowed access to internet, and the same from one in the guests subnet
Start > Run > cmd
tracert -d -w 500 4.2.2.2
Capture the output of both and please share with us
