DFS Namespace creates error massage for users - file outside of your local network.

Recently I have created new DFS Namspace (in preparation to move users redirected folders to different server share)

Until now users folders were redirected to

 \\server\USERS\username\...

After implementing DFS Namespace users folders are still pointing to the same place but it is now showing as

\\domain.local\shares\users\username\...

The issue is that when users click on to files  located in the new DFS namspace they get this message every time they try to open file:

Open File - Security Warning
We can't verify who created this file. Are you sure you want to open this file:

"..filename..."

This file is in a location outside your local network. Files from locations you don't recognize can harm your PC. Only open this file if you trust the location.

How do I fix this annoyance?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

add DFS UNC path to local intranet zone in IE for all machines
https://www.technipages.com/fix-we-cant-verify-who-created-this-file-error

May be you can use GPO to add UNC path in IE intranet zone

Any suggestion how to use GPO to send it to all users?
MaheshArchitectCommented:
computer configuration\administrative templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer\Internet Control Panel\security page and find "site to zone assignment"

There you can add websites with value of 1 (intranet zone)

The policy should be applied to computers
