Outlook 2016 can't open .html files
Hello.
I have a Windows 10 Pro 64 bit machine that's just had the fall creators update installed, and, it has the latest Office 2016 on, but, every time I click on a .html attachment in an email and select open, it takes me to the "open with" list, but, regardless of what I choose, and whether I select remember, it always just goes back to the same list.
I've tried quick repair, long repair, reinstalled office, downgraded to an older version, updated windows 10, reset internet explorer, but still nothing.
If I download the file to the desktop then I can open it just fine with any browser and it even remembers the choice I made.
I think it's a bug in MS Office.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I tried messing with the registry setting for .html extensions, but, still, no avail.
Selecting the default app from the Settings app or going to the file types list doesn't render any results either.
Any thoughts?

If you go to Settings -> Apps -> Default Apps -> Choose default apps by file type
and then scroll down to .html files, are they associated to a browser?

Yes, it does open with a browser, and, it is associated, and it's just fine in Windows Explorer, but not when I try from Outlook.
I think I'm going to do a soft reset of Windows 10 as this issue isn't happening on a different Windows 10 machine.
Thanks.
