There are several applications that have added things to this menu. While I need to keep these applications installed, I want to be able to remote some of the items that have been added to the Windows Explorer right click/context menu within Windows 10.<br />

What are some utilities or methods to remove items from the Windows Explorer right click/context menu (such as the "Add to MPC-HC Playlist" or the "Play with MPC-HC"?

There are several applications that have added things to this menu. While I need to keep these applications installed, I want to be able to remote some of the items that have been added to the Windows Explorer right click/context menu within Windows 10.



Utility/method to remove items from the Win Explorer right click/context menu

Windows 10 is a personal computer operating system featuring the "universal application architecture" (UAP); apps can be designed to run across multiple devices with nearly identical code, including PCs, tablets, smartphones, embedded systems, Xbox One, Surface Hub and HoloLens. Windows 10 also includes a virtual desktop system, a window and desktop management feature called Task View, the Microsoft Edge web browser, support for fingerprint and face recognition login, voice-based search (Cortana), new security features for enterprise environments, and DirectX 12 and WDDM 2.0 to improve the operating system's graphics capabilities for games.

Windows 10

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations. Computer software consists of programs, libraries and related non-executable data (such as documentation). Computer software is non-tangible, contrasted with computer hardware, which is the physical component of computers. Software written in a machine language is known as "machine code". However, in practice, software is usually written in high-level programming languages than machine language. High-level languages are translated into machine language using a compiler or interpreter or a combination of the two.

A miscellany is defined as a "collection of various pieces of writing by different authors", but it has come to mean something "Of items gathered or considered together of various types or from different sources" or "a collection or group composed of members or elements of different kinds". The word "miscellaneous" comes from the Latin word "miscere", meaning "to mix." You might have heard the expression "a mixed bag," which applies when you don't quite know what you're going to get. More commonly, a miscellaneous group is made up of an odd group of things that don't fit anywhere else.
