How to get support from Skype.com

Despite many attempts, I am unable to connect with Skype.com support.

I have Skype installed on a fully updated Windows 10 computer.

Even though I live and work in Canada, the installation identifies Skype's geographic base as England.

To change my Skype's geographic base from England to Canada is why I am trying to connect with Skype.com support.

Or maybe Experts, please, can you suggest a way to change Skype's geographic base from England to Canada?

Is your billing address showing the country as Canada?

It's in my name, Gordon Atherley.

It shows Canada and my home office address.

The Chat service has crashed twice. Right now, I'm nowhere.
Which browser are you using?
MS Start (windows 10)
MS EDGE it is
Try to use Internet Explorer 11 instead.
Will do and report back.
Internet Explorer is absent from my W10 computers.

I looked for downloads but the latest seemed to be dated 2014, which makes me wary.

I'm going to try Chrome for accessing Skype. I'll report back.
Chrome was able to get so far, but it seemed to corrupt my name and address. I'll check Edge again and report back.

After that I would like to suggest something different.

One factor I've encountered on several occasions is time.

I've found that it can take up to 24 hours for an edit to be fully placed by the system.

I'm wondering if the edits to my name and or the description "Observational research" are the subject of time delays.

I'm proposing to delay all further action until tomorrow, just in case.

As usual I will report back.

After that I want to find some way to acknowledge your expertise.

I tested my Skype system today. I discovered no changes.

For now, I've given up struggling with Skype help.

This leaves my Skype with its business headquarters in England instead of Canada where I now live.

To close the present question, please would you let me know what, if any, alternatives to Skype are available.

The alternatives must be functionally able to record telephone conversations in the way that Evaer does.

What do you suggest please?
