I believe the best solution I chose would explain better the limit of the number of clients.
I believe the best solution I chose would explain better the limit of the number of clients.
A single channel of a AP is a single colision domain, and clients connected to the AP antagonise each other for the channel.
In simple words, only one client can transmit at any given time, and the more clients you have connected, the more time they spent waiting for the other to stop transmitting.
Depending on the traffic, your AP can slow down to a pulp with as little as 50 clients.
If your traffic is simple web browsing / email etc, without streaming you can go to 200 clients and maybe even more.
