ESXi 6.0 with Dell R610, 2TB storage limitation
hello experts
I have a Dell R610 and PERC H700 as the disk controller, I did build up a RAID 6 with about 7TB storage space, ESXi 6.0 installed on it but the storage limitation still 2TB, as i know ESXi 6.0 already extend the limitation to 64TB, so whats wrong in my case and how to fix it?
thank you

How do you have your Boot Mode set in the Setup F2 utility? BIOS or UEFI?

why are you installing ESXi on spinny disks to start with, it's much better and easier to install ESXi on a USB flash drive or SD card, and leave the entire 7TB RAID 6 array for your VMFS datastore.
ESXi was designed to be installed in embedded mode.

I noticed your file system is 5.61 you might want to go to VMFS 6. Did you create the volume in the thick client or web client because the thick client limits you to 2TB.

yes, just ignore it
Did you got any error on increasing - could you please share screenshot for where do you see the limitation.
