Access iSeries integrated windows server data with integrated server shut dowm

We have a AS400 server which is running v5r4 of the OS. It has an integrated windows 2003 server. The windows server install got corrupted and is down.  We would like to pull the data of of the windows install without the windows 2003 server running.  Is it possible? Since the disks are integrated between the AS400 and windows I thought it might be possible since the Windows drive are showing up as AS400 virtual disks with the integrated server being off.

But are the virtual drives accessible from the AS400 with the windows server down.  All I need to do is copy files from one directory to another to restore our windows registry.
The contents of the virtual drives are only accessible from the Integrated Windows Server.  You can backup and restore the virtual drives from the AS400 with the IWS down, but there is no way that I know of to access the contents of the drives themselves.

One option is to boot from the "D:" drive that was created when the server was originally installed, using the instructions provided in the documentation, and do an in-place reinstall of the OS:

Alternately, you could create a new server, then attach your old virtual drives to it, and perform any needed repairs.  Unfortunately, I can't guide you though that process in a forum like this, I'd need to have access to the system in order to figure out the process.
