I have a single Windows EC2 VM-instance in AWS that has 2 EBS devices attached to it. I need make periodic backups using snapshots. So far no prob. I can start them using a scheduled cmd in the AWS cli.<br />

Te issue is how do I handle retention policies? I'd like to create a daily snapshot and then retain 10 daily snapshots and 4 weekly snapshots.<br />

Any ideas?
