install hl-l2340dw brother printer on a dual-booted system

I put both windows 7 and linux-mint 18.2 (sonya) on my computer. I have a Brother hl-l2340dw laser printer. How can I make both OS's print? I am not REALLY knowledgeable in either OS. Before I dual booted, I was only running Ubuntu and I had my printer working. It was a lot of googling. Before I pull teeth getting this to work --- what do I do?
