install hl-l2340dw brother printer on a dual-booted system

I put both windows 7 and linux-mint 18.2 (sonya) on my computer.  I have a Brother hl-l2340dw laser printer.  How can I make  both OS's print?  I am not REALLY knowledgeable in either OS.  Before I dual booted, I was only running  Ubuntu and I had my printer working. It was a lot of googling.  Before I pull teeth getting this to work --- what do I do?

Exactly the same as you did before. Both OS's need the printer adding separately in each OS. But once there it will work fine.

You can get the latest drivers for this device from here
http://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadtop.aspx?c=us&lang=en&prod=hll2340dw_us_eu_as

In each IS download the drivers and follow the instructions on the support website.
