Windows 2008 and error 4201
Hi,
I am using Windows 2008 R2 Standard. No Active Directory.
DNS service it is not working anymore.
I am unable to start it, I get error: "error 1717 unknown interface".
I tried to view Event viewer, but it is stopped, and I am unable to start it, too: "Error code: 4201 - The instance name passed was not recognized as valid by a WMI data provider"
Any suggestion? Thank you very much

If it don't work, try to change permissions in the %SystemRoot%\System32\wine

Hi, in both cases, I removed "read only" permission, but after checking, it restored itself automatically.
