Exchange content filter blocking some internal scanners
I have several copiers that scan to email. One o fthem works just fine, you scan and the scan arrives in email. A few others, it's blocked with an SCL of 8. I have tried setting a relay, a bypass rule, restarting all services, changing the sender email address, etc. Nothing changes the scl value of these printers. What else can I try?

Are you configuring the scanner via MAPI, pop3 or SMTP?

The log keeps saying content filter exceeded. Why is one scanner scl rating a 3 and the other an 8?
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

Have you tried white-listing the scanner's email address? In the Exchange Management Shell the relevant command is:
Added the scanner email address to the bypassed senders list, restarted transport server, still marking is as spam and sending to quarantine. Is there a different service I need to restart?

Have you created a rule bypassing spam filter?.
That's only thing that should work. I've experienced something similar to you and that's how I fixed it. Of course knowing that is a trusted source.
Try creating a Rule in mail flow bypassing your spam filter, if it doesn't work then try deleting the user and recreating it. Sometimes might happen that something is wrong with the user.

This happens to all the users that use these scanners. These are from the logs: I am at a total loss on this
Try to whitelist the scanner domain, i.e/. filamatic.com, as shown at the end of the link I gave. You can also use wildcard characters, so you could try *.filamatic.com
