DFS what?  Namespaces?  Replication?

Everyone should be using Namespaces.  Makes server migrations MUCH easier.

I use DFS-R for replications and I have no complaints.

I wonder if anyone is using DFS for branche caching? Instead of the branche cache software for a remote office?

In my opinion, I would only use DFS-R.  If you want to know the difference, this is a good article to explain some of the basics.

Since BranchCache doesn't keep the data available when the connection between sites is unavailable and since DFRS would allow what would essentially be a live off-site replica in case of disaster (not really a backup, but if the "main site" had a fire, flood, tornado, alien invasion, whatever), I would prefer DFS for that reason alone.
