VMWare hardware health monitoring using SNMP
Hi everybody,
I'm not really familiar with SNMPwalks and OID's, but I have a tool that can check an SNMP OID value and trigger me if that value changes or is not equal to the value that I want.
I want to be able to find my RAID-controller / Storage health using SNMP. I have a HP server where I've installed the HP Offline Bundle and I can do an SNMPwalk. In VMWare itself I can see that the storage and the system health gives me a warning when I take 1 disk out.
How do I find the OID which is responsible for this when using VMWare with the HP ESXi offline bundle installed ?
I tried finding it on the internet, but I can't find what I'm looking for.
Thank you,
Dennis
