Difference between modulus functions in oracle

Hi Team,

I would like to know the difference between Remainder and Mod function in Oracle ,as both are used to evaluate the remainder of a division operation.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you looked up both functions in the online documentation?

It explains the difference:
https://docs.oracle.com/database/122/SQLRF/REMAINDER.htm#SQLRF06312
The MOD function is similar to REMAINDER except that it uses FLOOR in its formula, whereas REMAINDER uses ROUND.
