Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

WhiteSpace on Database is basically the Blank Space within a Database. That said what size are you talking about before someone says what should be a concern as such?

Article worth reading when you thing whether to Defrag the database or not. Defrag in today's times is NOT a good option but it is a choice that each Admin takes

what if the database free space comes below 5%  and if circular looging is enabled, does it help?

It’s a good question. There are few situations where storage is filling up faster because of log files OR Cases where databases having more database copies and there is no enough storage available to withstand the situation.

So we will be forced to enable Circular logging in these situation, still its not recommended to do so.

As I asked the question would be easily answered if we know the Size of the Database and the amount of WhiteSpace showing available on the respective Database
