night shift on iOS 9.3.5 (Ipad 2? )

Hi,

I d like to reduce blue light on my iPad, but night shift isn't there. iOS is 9.3.5 and can't update anymore.
Do not find apps which can do this so please advise.

It appears that Night Shift does not run on 32-bit devices. There might be an alternative app you could try.

"The Night Shift feature appears to be limited to iOS devices that have a 64-bit processor. That includes the iPhone 5s and later, the iPad Air and later, and the iPad mini 2 and later."

The only app I know of is called GoodNight however, you need to have your iPad either jail broken or use software tools to install it. I would not recommend this because it is not published in the iTunes store.

Indeed, won't do that.

Agreed.

No third party app can do and you do not need a third party app to do it.

Is your Home button still working?

If yes, you can follow the YouTube in the link below to make triple click of your Home button to dim the light of your iPad 2. It is not real night shift but it serves the purpose.

Then it is as easy to dim the light with the slider.
