IE 11 & adobe DC

My users are having issues opening PDF from IE 11.  The add on is enabled and so is Java.  I've tried reinstalling and it works for a while but the problem comes back again. Any suggestions?

What you want to do generally works. I am not sure what you reinstalled but I suggest you fully reinstall IE 11.

Open Control Panel, Programs and Features, Windows Features, and uncheck IE 11.  Restart (you must). Go back and Enable IE 11, Restart (you must).

Now go to Control Panel, Internet Options, Advanced, and Reset IE. Start with the top half of Reset options. Once reset, restart.

Now make sure Java is up to date (8 , 151), make sure Adobe is recent version,  make sure Adobe and IE are set to open PDF's and test.

So you think this issue is IE 11 and not Adobe?

I have not had issues with Adobe. I have used both Edge and IE 11. So yes, I would repair IE and see.

OK here's what I did.  I repaired the install of Adobe, enabled Java in IE and yes reinstalled IE - that seemed to have worked.
