asked on
HP PC and Screen acting up .... Screen saying no video or something but power off/on PC and video is back ...
6th month old win 10 HP and monitor
Spoke to user briefly.
Powered off at switch - On boot to windows PC is sluggish, but perhaps a few power ons/offs did that and windows is in shock ...
Ive changed power settings to high performance and asked user not to use the PC for a while
It may be the PC and it may be the monitor

Hi,
HP came out and changed the mother board and power supply and the problem remains the same
So it's likely a win 10 issue / software issue
When you boot to safe mode it's not possible to tell the PC to sleep - there isn't an option
So the work around is to tell the PC not to sleep ...
as I just don't know what to do next to cute this ...

Hi Nobus
If I do that and it works, will a windows update not make it do it again ?
Is there any point ?
Interested in your opinion

it may, but then at least you know the cause, and can disable it
