The above reminder app with alarm should be what you are looking for.

Though I also have the ToDoReminder app (because it allows setting a reminder alarm the same day and time every 4 weeks), for my daily alarm I just use the Clock app.

Android 6.x Apps, pg1
In its settings, go to the Alarm tab to make/configure alarms.

Stock 'Clock' App's Alarm tab
When there's an upcoming alarm set, you should see the alarm clock icon appear in the top bar of the screen.

Be aware if you have Do Not Disturb set, or use a Task Killer, any alarms could be disabled.

Here's also a non-stock alarm I employ frequently (a Dive klaxon, attached...  rename it DiveAlarm.mp3 after downloading).

when i click + button to add new alram it shows time first which does not make sense(as i expect date first??)
now i selected 8 then asking mintes i selected 35 with am there is n way i can select anything between say 835 till 840 am
only increment of 5 is there i want instead increment of 1 minute?
now in next screen it does not ask for date or day it simply shows 8:35 am with repeat button?
